It seems like only yesterday we were taking this little guy home from the hospital. He was and is such a special little guy.
I can't believe he's a big four year old now.
He wanted a batman party this year, but due to poor planning and a busy schedule right before Christmas, we did not invite anyone over this year. We had a small family party.
I decorated the table and kitchen. We took cupcakes to share with his friends at daycare that day. Then we took him out to his favorite place to eat, Chick-Fil-A for dinner. After dinner, we took him on a surprise trip to the discount movie store to pick out a new movie. We went home, had cake and ice cream and opened presents from Grandma and Grandpa.
After we cleaned up, we spread out a blanket on the floor and got cozy and watched Ryan's new movie as a family. Ryan was perfectly content and happy with this party and it was a nice relaxed change of pace, perfect for this year.
Happy 4th birthday little man! We love you!
