We've had a few reasonably windy days here this month. Kites were on sale at Target for $2.00, which I thought was a deal. We let Ryan pick out a kite and one windy day, he went kite flying for the first time.
It was a bit difficult for him at first, since he wanted to run TOWARD the kite, not away from the kite, so his kite kept diving out of the sky and nearly nailed him on the head a time or two.
But he eventually figured it out with some coaching from me. He did end up with a kite flying high in the sky and he was quite proud of himself!
