We recently celebrated Dylan's 4th birthday. He is really digging the super hero's at this time of life and requested a "batman" party. We didn't really do anything special or have a traditional party this year, but we did decorate the dining room with some decorations I had leftover from Ryan's fourth birthday party (incidently, he also had a batman party when he turned four). We decorated after Dylan went to bed, so when he woke up in the morning he was really surprised!
He dressed up as batman for basically the entire day, which brought a lot of smiles when we were out and about doing errands.
We had a low-key day which included one or two short errands and mostly playing with new birthday toy and eating cake.
