Yesterday, I'm pretty sure the whole family thought we were going to die of heat stroke at the zoo.
Last night it rained and cooled everything down a lot. It was confirmed around noon that the high was only 78 today and supposed to remain cloudy.
So, we decided to take Rod and Linda and the kids to the Incline. By the time we got out the door, the clouds had blown away and it was 90 degrees, muggy and sunny.
It made for some great pictures though!

Afterwords, everyone needed to cool off. So we hit up Rita's for some Italian ice and then the kids changed into swimsuits for some sprinkler fun.
Strike two as far as the heat goes....maybe tomorrow we'll actually hit up the pool!
